GUIDE: how the SmartMele platform works

HOW TO ACCESS SMARTMELE

To access SmartMele:

• the first time, simply select the ENTER THE PLATFORM button, enter a valid email and create a password. Once the email has been verified, you can enter.

• Then just enter the same credentials in the LOG IN area

Access is free.

THE INTERNAL SECTIONS

On the left (top left from MOBILE) you will find the menu to access the different sections

HOW TO USE THE DASHBOARD SECTION

The Dashboard collects previews of some sections, including the European stocks page (interactive) and the European prices page (on which it is possible to select the quality of apple to be analyzed). There are also links to the price forecast page, a preview of the latest news from trusted sources from the world of apples, a link to the page of the favorite charts and one to the page with the different apple varieties.

HOW TO USE FAVORITE CHARTS

The Favorite charts page allows you to save the current view. This means that once you have set the desired filters, you can save the view for the next visit. It is possible to select the currency (€ or $), and choose whether to display up to 5 types of apple per country, or vice versa choose the same type in up to 5 countries.

In the piece and stock charts you can select the desired time period.

ITALIAN MARKET SECTION

The ITALIAN MARKET section is dedicated to Italian regional stocks, prices and markets. The sections can be reached by scrolling down or by selecting the red button at the top.

• Stock & Price: in the Stock & Price section you can see the quantity and immediate comparison between stock and price
• Stock Dynamics summarizes the dynamics of stocks compared year by year. Scrolling with the cursor you will discover the numbers relating to the years
• Apple Prices in Italy shows prices by variety (selectable below). The graph is dynamic and by pointing the mouse you can read the numerical data.
• Italian News is a collection of the main news from the web, filtered by SmartMele robots.
• Regional Market contains the data of some Italian regions. It is possible to select a series of features from the menu on the left, filtering the view of the results.

PRICE FORECAST

The Price forecast section reports the price forecasts for the next six months. To the right are numerous details.

EUROPEAN STOCK

European Stocks summarizes the dynamics of European stocks. It's possible to select the different countries or the whole of Europe, with the stocks divided by type of apple.

VARIETES

In the Varieties section there are 32 described apple varieties, of which 5 are currently available for data analysis, and another 1249 apple species mapped, with the possibility of finding them by entering the name in the search space.

THE MARKETPLACE

The Marketplace section is currently only available upon request.
